just put up some pics of rain's concert=) and i found that there are actually a lot of K-fans like maoyu and shiyun. they were very shocked when i told them i went to rain's concert=) so proud of myself man. yes and of course thanks to gavin for the tickets. okay it's a bit late to talk abt rain now.

i shall just put up some pics i took at my family gathering. i actually held a one-month old baby! he's like so fragile lar, i was so scared i would drop him. im getting a lot better with babies now! the next month coming in feb shall enjoy all my love showered on her=)

how come i feel like im always having new family members all the time? babies keep coming and they look like part of our family in my photos. haha. yay i love babies!

heh sorry blog been neglecting u for some time. somehow im always behind schedule with my hw so i won't be online frequently. i met laiyeng yest at lot 1 and she went to the library to do her hw! and she had a real thick stack of notes. now im starting to feel that hc super slack...or is it just me? haha. 'cause i've been playing ard with my NEW HANDPHONE since i got it yest and i haven't touched my hw at all. oh well.
i went to RAIN'S CONCERT like one week ago. rain is SOoooo hot can. he's got really great stamina 'cause he could dance for 2 hrs straight. it really rained on the stage, and rain became all drenched but he looked hotter than ever. shall put up some pics later. and i finally understand why ppl scream when all those fireworks thingy come shooting out like missiles 'cause it really does make the atmosphere high all of a sudden. i think its really different watching a concert live compared to watching dvd. so i've made up my mind to go to jay's concert if he does come this yr. anyone wanna come too? haha.
oh im starting to give my neighbour tuition for chinese. other than making him read and write i really have no idea what to do. chinese is really a difficult subject to teach man...shall consult mr tan when we go back to bp ha!
i dunno why but im in a very random mood today. haha. oh i wanna go back to dance sometime! wanna tell mdm liao that im going to continue dancing in hc. well dance ppl who see this pls tell me when's the next dance session. =)
O's results are coming out in a week or so bah? im looking forward to seeing everyone again and our teachers! i miss mr lim like mad, mrs joseph...every teacher in bp too. the teaching style in jc is so different lar, can't really adapt yet. im like ignoring lecturers half the time. oh well things will get better.
alright i hav to go for lunch somewhere then go to my grandma's hse later. another busy weekend.

2nd week in hci has been most fun. since we were separated into our classes, i had to start knowing ppl once more. and when i first saw my class, i wasn't really happy 'cause it's not the class i was looking forward to. but strangely, we girls bonded quite well and not long after we were all talking and getting to know each other better. and by the end of this week, we girls plus the guys have become quite comfortable with one another. and i found some jay fans in our class too! =) i had a lot of fun singing jay's songs to them while they marvel at my ability to memorize all the lyrics. haha. not that hard actually.
lets talk about our war games. my class is in ARES (god of war worh!) faculty, so we put on our red faculty shirt and sat down amongst the sea of red ppl. our faculty is the biggest one, u see. so after some briefing we were off to the field and began to run towards our common enemy with water bombs in a series of waves. but their defenders super rough can. tried to break through our waves causing us to fall like dominoes. one almost hugged me from behind and tried to squeeze my bombs. eeyer. so after some time i decided that i wasn't a good attacker so i went to defend our shirt(the bombs are supposed to attack our faculty shirt) and stop attackers. once this super big guy came charging at us and a few guys couldn't stop him lor. i think they could only try to break his bombs so he would stop attacking. haha. the war game was short ah, i was spending all my time screaming when ppl charged at me. plus i didn't get to go into the starch pool lor. what a waste can.
as for the campfire our class had to come up with a class item so we did dance and cheer. i did some of the choreography! really put in effort thinking of the steps and teaching everybody. 'cause it's not easy to handle ard 20 ppl with some who dun like dancing. i think i can finally understand why mdm liao is screaming at our juniors all the time. and finally when we got all to dance, the audition room was at this super small LT5 so there wasn't enough space for all. some ppl started saying that only some ppl shld dance and they dun wanna dance. i seriously wanted to stand up and say, fine! take it that i've wasted all my time and effort and i'm sorry for making u all so unhappy. of course i didn't and we managed to get everybody to dance. it wasn't the best performance, but at least we tried. and i felt really glad=) i must thank my class for being so cooperative.
at sch we had this angel-mortal thingy which we played with our senior class. and finally my mortal replied and my angel sent me a letter too! yay=) i was like so jealous my frens all got their letters. haha. and our angels will be revealed on valentine's day which is our cross-country day. blehh. lets see how things go then.
i had intro lectures for all my subjects. and econs seems super boring. hopefully the next official lecture will be better. our first CLL lecture was to write a compo on MY AMBITION. woah like since primary one i haven't been writing anything like that le lor. plus they give one hr only. so my ending was super abrupt. omg. i hope they won't try to kick me out of cLEP or i can't stay in hci anymore.
i was thinking of dropping CLL if i get 7 or below for O's, but now that i've bonded so well with my class, im not so sure anymore. i certainly dun wanna change class lor. i heard results are coming out on 5th Feb, is that true? if it is then it's real fast lor. omg.

yest was bp sec 1 campfire! went back yest with fiona, shalene and our class ppl too. saw a lot of graduated students also. i dunno why but i wasn't in the mood to feel high yest. maybe 'cause i exerted all my energy being so high during the past few days bah...haha. i finally got to explore the campus and hmm...maybe it isn't that much of a cozy place after all. i bet there'll be a lot of mosquitoes ard and it's gonna be real hot in the afternoons due to the zinc roofs. and this yr's cut-off point didn't drop at all! still at 243. i guess our reputation still not bad yea? and our juniors look so tiny and cute lar. can't help thinking that we were all like that 4 yrs ago=)
i wasn't paying much attention to what happened at the campfire, but i joined in all the sch cheers. feels very different doing the cheers as a graduated student...can't really describe. so we shouted our lungs out at the end of the campfire.
it feels great meeting all my friends after being in an unfamiliar environment for so long. it's like i can feel comfortable ard them and can do anything without restrictions. haha like what jieqi did. our class ppl went to mac after the campfire, and after eating jieqi said she learnt a new experiment-adding milk tea to chili sauce will produce an exothermic reaction, and we must reach out our hands to feel the heat. so of course we didn't suspect anything and val reached out first and...jieqi slamed val's hand onto the chili+milk tea mix! woah. luckily i was sitting further than val haha. then chiam came along later so we decided to try it on him. but he was too clever lar, despite our brilliant acting=) so we talked a bit abt sch and chiam told us abt THE BOOK for chem and physics. great to have teachers to seek advice from. anyway we just talked abt random stuff before we went home at 10plus. =)=)=)

Hi everyone! these few days in hci have been so hectic for me lar. in the mornings my dad sends me to sch where there are massive jams everywhere. im really appreciating how close bp was to me during the past 4 yrs. it takes like 1 hr plus for me to get home so i usually reach home at 7 plus near 8pm. then after some packing i feel sleepy already. now i know the cons of having an early bedtime. blehh.
i had a lot of fun during these 3 days of orientation=) but the mornings are always the most boring part 'cause we have to sit in the auditorium listening to speeches after speeches about their programmes and subjects which are quite non-relevant to me. so us girls- chongwee, ruyi and me usually end up drifting off to sleep haha. yest's talks continued all the way to 2pm before we could go dance and play games. thank goodness there won't be talks on mon le=)

okay for the fun part. we were divided into 42 ogs, im in og18. on the 1st day of orientation we played the standard icebreakers- wacko and passing ard pokey sticks with our mouth! aiyo. i rmb once when the stick came along it was super short lar. plus it was a guy lor. i felt like i was going to kiss him when i got the stick over. the girl next to me didn't want to get the stick since it was so super short le. so i ate it and i had to do a forfeit! it was to hit the next ogl with the wacko stick on the butt and say 'og18 rocks!' haha. so i picked up the stick and tried to walk very bravely towards the ogl who looked a little intimidating and was doing cheers. i waited for her to finish and whacked her and said og18 rocks. omg. she looked at me and said '...okay...' ahh! super embarrassing. then we learnt 3 mass dances! they were quite simple ah, but it feels great when everybody's dancing tgt. but as u can see, the hall is quite cramped. so for ppl like us standing at the back we are often crushed when ppl in front move back. the couple dances are even more fun. finally we get to dance with a guy! haha. shortage of guys in bp dance. and everyone's doing it just so seriously, learning and laughing when we get it wrong. after the dance session we had sang college songs. they're all in chinese so it feels exceptionally familiar. and the tune v nice too! i like our songs. the 1st day ended at 5pm so we got to go home early.
2nd day we sat through the talks and had dance and song sessions again. learnt the school song which was super hard to sing. high and low notes everywhere. mostly the chinese high boys sang 'cause we couldn't get the tune. then came the games! there was this carrot tied to a belt which u had to put on and try to swing the carrot to hit a orange on the ground. i think i tied the carrot a bit low so it was kinda difficult to swing it forward. and i lost. haha. its kinda funny to see two guys with their carrots entangled tgt too! just imagine the sight. then there was this station where we had to pass a sweet covered in flour with our mouth and spit it into the next person's hand and so on. got our faces all in flour and sometimes when the sweet gets passed down it's all wet can. super gross. but our og worked very well tgt and the sweets were passed down at like lightning speed. haha. of course we won and we cheered v loudly. and when we cheer we can feel the bond forming between us=) the next station was to pass water using plastic cups and our mouths only to fill up a bucket. ended up all wet 'cause the gamemaster kept throwing water on us. and qinpei was the gamemaster. of course i got splashed a lot haha. the game was called hit-and-run, and we were asked to explain why. so the guys thought of splashing the gamemasters with water and run away. haha. they have funny ideas. then it evolved into a splashing game and everyone got wet. just nice it rained soon after and we gathered back in the hall where we were dismissed.
3rd day! if i were to update once every week my posts will be super long. haha. anyway more dance and songs and cheers before we could go play games. the whole atmosphere was super high when we finished cheering=) our 1st game was balloons. we had to tie them to our arms and legs and try to protect our balloons while we burst the other og's balloons. and we strategized a bit, so we tied the balloons to our hands only and blew them super small so it'll be difficult to burst. our og is really very scheming can=) of course with such brilliant strategy we won. then we moved on to the next one which is to pass water bombs with garbage bags and at the end one batter must hit the water bomb and break it. im glad to announce that im the one to break the first water bomb!=) our entire og cheered! it feels just great lar. of course everybody worked hard and we broke 4 bombs in total. but we still lost by one bomb so we had to do a forfeit. the previous grp's forfeit was that the guys do push-ups on top of the girls! omg. but i heard it was banned soon after. anyway they made us roll across the wet and rough floor and when i got up, dirty water was streaming down my legs lar. super super gross. next was some black widow thingy where we had to jump about on grids on the floor to avoid being in the same row and column as the 'black widow'. i managed to make it till the last few, but they decided to make the area smaller so i got 'killed' soon and our og ppl got 'killed' too. so the other og won. the other game was to get into grps of 1, 2 ,3, 4 ,5 and do some actions. there was once 2 of our og ppl paired with 2 from the other og, but there were pushed away by the girls from the other og so they got out. super stupid can. i can sense some intense rivalry there worh. the other grp won this game too but they made the winners do the forfeit! haha. so they shook their butts on the 2nd floor while we looked from below.
woohoo. i realised i just wrote a whole long paragraph on all my games. bear with me ah, one more game to go=) the aim of the game was basically to win scissors-paper-stone while trying to get through some benches covered in soap. the other og's girls were very...woah. they charged at us like a bull charging at a red flag. thats an apt description. i won once, but ended up with blue-blacks on my legs. blehh. i think our team won and we made the guys roll across the soap-covered floor. we spared the girls know. haha. finally the day came to an end but we had an og outing later. so we waited for everyone to clean up before we made our way to mac.
since there were like abt 20 of us we moved the tables ard like some major renovation. haha. after eating and our ogl finally came, we sang him happy birthday! though its somewhere in sept i think=) he looked very cute as we sang to him. someone bought him a cake somemore and we made him wish and blow out the candles. haha. super fun. then we started to play card games like heart attack and jackass? but apparently we weren't allowed to play poker cards in mac so we switched to murderer instead. had some fun squeezing all the way 'cause i wasn't too sure how i shld play the game. soon i had to go home 'cause it was already 9 plus and i didn't wanna get home too late. i think we'll have another og outing sometime so we'll be able to meet again=)
