No movie :(

Photo taken in cinema during their "green screen of death". Changed the colour 'cause i felt it looked scary haha!
After getting defeated by the seemingly easy physiology paper (i should have studied harder), I decided to wake up early and go fight for seats with the O and A level people at jurong east library. So yixin had to wake up early too. But there were simply too many people chionging for good seats, so we headed straight to the 4th floor where people are generally noisy but at least we get to eat food. Spent the entire morning and afternoon mugging (with frequent breaks to play slice it! on ipod and surf the net). Nothing special...no not really, i had a rather bloody chicken leg for lunch, they didn't cook it enough.

At 530pm we headed out to cine to catch the owl movie (very long name!), only to find out that they won't be screening the movie due to technical difficulties. Felt very sian, because it was quite a long ride from jurong east. And we already bought our popcorn and drink and a cup of ramen noodles. Haii. So we had to queue up for the refund, and I made a bit of noise about how our food's going to waste so the manager said I could redeem the set the next visit.

We visited the arcade and played tekken. Some guy swiped his card while we were still playing and then yixin lost, so I had to fight that guy. My first time being challenged in the arcade! And he didn't even say hi so mei li mao. I lost, of course, but I did win a round haha. Then yixin and I went to take neoprints - something we haven't done in months. But the machine had to break down (-.-what's with our luck) and it took some time before we got the photos. I like the shiny patterns on it.

So hotttttttttttt

Finally it's my recess week! Well not much time to rest since i still have my tcm finals on thursday. Went to the woodlands library yesterday around evening time to mug a little, and for some reason the entire causeway point was less crowded than it usually would be. Maybe it's because the shops near the entrance are closed. Even when we went home at around 9pm there were so little people on the mrt, and we noticed a bit of (ominous!) fog at the mrt station. Brr.
Anyway I didn't mug for long because I got hungry very soon and we went to queue up for ichiban. Wanted to use our $20 voucher. I haven't had such good food in a long time! Partly due to my then rotting leg and that my parents and yixin were overseas AT THE SAME TIME. Haii. Then we wanted to catch a movie but there weren't any good timings, so we went to play arcade instead. And then i wanted to collect more photos for yixin's smiley face project, so I got him to stand at the mini-football machine. But someone wanted to play and yixin couldn't play, so he lost his temper with me! How dare he. Of course I wouldn't forgive him easily, so I made him take stupid photos of himself and a video of him pressing his ulcer and making a different noise each time. Screenshot will go into yixin's smiley album :)
Turned out when we reached home, my parents were somewhere in bedok. So we watched a few episodes of flashforward together. I'm finally going to finish that drama! Haha and it was so warm yesterday night I couldn't even bear sitting next to yixin. The moment my parents came back and he left, I went to cool myself in my mum's aircon room. Insane weather in october!

Too alone!

(Yixin trying to be cute. And another mix from my visit to the universal studios. Taken with a nice app called Diptic in my new ipod touch!)

Quick post before i start my long tedious mugging!
Mum and dad are going to penang tomorrow. Yixin is happily in thailand shopping now. I'm going to be more alone than i've ever been in my life for the next few days. To make it worse, I'm currently fighting a skin infection that shows no sign of healing soon. That effectively limits my diet to vegetables and fish. And pork, the only meat i can eat. Terrible time now for a carnivore like me :(
On a brighter note, I received my ipod touch 4! It's already awesome without jailbreaking, and I'm gonna love it more once it's jailbroken. Done with my scholarship interview too, no more stress! Now I just have to deal with the upcoming mid-terms and tcm finals. And my rotting leg. Haii.

Saturday, October 02, 2010

Finally it's Saturday, finally some time to breathe *inhales deeply*. I'm starting to feel that there's too many things to do, but too little time for me to do everything well. Just had my tcm mid-terms on monday (which I did horribly), and now finals are coming on 21st october. And because tcm is taking up so much time to revise- 18 hours of lessons a week- i don't have much time for other modules! Plus dance is getting very demanding with the many performances coming up. And i got myself into ureca (undergraduate research thingy) which will last the whole year and possibly until end of year 3. Am I trying to do too many things at one time? Was thinking about quitting dance, but persuaded myself out of it. 船到桥头自然直. MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF ANITA PEE!

My LG lollipop

I've been meaning to blog for quite some time! But didn't quite find the time to. First I wanna introduce my very pretty new phone : LG lollipop PINK!
It's a very basic phone, but the themes and wallpapers preloaded are so cute! Here are some photos taken with the phone:

(Internal camera)

(He loves his PSP. Haii.)

Yea on tuesday i think, i had no lessons and yixin had a day off too, so we went to jurong library to mug. Went early in the morning! but apparently it was the september holidays so there were a lot of students. We went to the cafe for lunch and decided to study there. Wasn't a very productive study day after all, but at least i tried! Haha.

School's only started 2 weeks ago, but I'm already mugging so hard! With up to 5 hours of tcm lectures a day, it's getting very difficult to keep up with the teacher's pace. And I have 3 other modules to worry about too. Haii.

Yesterday night i went back to hci maf and saw many people whom i haven't seen in a long time! The school's changed a lot too, it's a bit unsightly now with all the construction going on, but when the MRT station is built it'll be such a wonderful thing :) Bought a hci logo-shaped lantern (quite creative of them!) and a cookie-man accessory to put on my handphone. Some photos taken yesterday (of course taken with my pretty phone haha) :

(Haha mingte's weird spectacle frame)

Marina Barrage x2

Yesterday yixin and i went to Sakura@cck 'cause we had the 30% discount coupon. Enjoyed the salmon sashimi and this prawn sashimi that looks like adult amaebi haha. There's this crayfish laksa that was really good too! Wish i had a big enough stomach to hold all the good food :(

After that we made our way to marina barrage, the place that so many people have been telling me about. Getting there is quite troublesome, since we still had to walk quite a bit to the bus stop from marina bay mrt. Didn't quite like walking through the underpass with its eerie yellow lights. The moment we got down the bus, we were greeted by the many colourful kites flying merrily in the night sky. How beautiful! The furthest kite even looked like it could blend in with the stars. We walked around, admiring the scenery and enjoying the breeze. Yixin said it's a good place for class gathering. I tried to imagine us all flying kites. Heh.

We caught the 1030pm bus and thought we were heading for marina bay mrt, but i didn't know which stop to alight so we ended up at the bus terminal, along with a few panic-stricken people. Hopped onto bus 106 thinking we could end up in bukit batok, but we passed by a few stops with 190 so we changed to that instead. I was so tired, i slept all the way back to cck.

So today i told my parents about marina barrage and my mum wanted to go there. We went to giant@imm first to buy some stuff, and i grabbed this $3.90 kite thinking we could go fly it there. Turned out it was such a lousy kite - all it does when launched into the air is spiral clockwise back to earth-.- Mum said all she saw was dad and i making a fool out of ourselves in a crowd of pro flyers. Haii.

School is starting tomorrow, can't wait! Shall go to sleep soon :)

No more yog!

Ah it's so convenient to have a blogging app so I can start blogging on the way home while I still remember stuff. And speaking of things I would remember, mr-boxing-handsome would definitely be the top of my list. He's here as an athlete role model, to give pointers to our rising stars and arouse interest in the young ones. And how mesmerizing can he be! He had a mock boxing match with one guy, and the way he dodged punches neatly, the style he threw his own punches out...I couldn't take my eyes off him. This must sound like an infatuation :) but it's something I haven't had in years! We had a group photo with him, which should be up on Facebook anytime soon. I ended my last day of work with very warm cheeks, haha.

Today business was exceptionally brisk at the yog merchandise store, probably because it's the last day to get souvenirs. The products were flying off their shelves! Apparently even the bunch of school children have their visa cards to pay for their purchases. Back in our time, we got handphones like in upper secondary only! So yea, the lyo and merly plushies were sold out, islandwide. Got money also cannot buy :(

Aww, so patient with kids. He didn't seem to mind them throwing punches at his palm, he was smiling throughout the session. :):)

Finally my yog duties are finished. Just a few more days and school will start! Can't wait!
